Matanuska Valley • Est. 1974 • Born Under the Midnight Sun
Deep in the shadow of towering Chugach peaks, where the snow never fully melts and the sun never sets in summer — that’s where Alaskan Thunderfuck was born. 1974. One man. One bus. One legend.
Before the buds, before the fame — Heime Cheeba had one job: clean dog shit out of school buses.
These weren’t yellow kid wagons. These were mobile kennels for sled dog breeding — parked in the shadow of Pioneer Peak. Huskies howling. Piss freezing to the floor. Heime, 16, armed with a shovel and a dream.
But parked right beside the dog bus? Another bus. Windows blacked out. Vents humming. Grow lights glowing. Inside: rows of Thunderfuck plants, dripping resin under 24-hour summer sun.
One winter, the grower vanished. Heime stepped in. From scooping frozen turds to harvesting crystal colas — all before the snow melted.
By 1974, Heime had his own hidden valley grow. The strain hit like a grizzly charge. Locals whispered: “One hit and you’re thunderfucked.”
No clones. No seeds sold. Just Heime, the mountains, and a legacy carved in ice and resin.
